I sidste måned udtalte en talsmand for det kinesiske udenrigsministerium, at for yderligere at lette personaleudvekslinger mellem Kina og udlandet besluttede Kina at udvide omfanget af unilaterale visumfrie lande til atFrankrig, Tyskland, Italien, Holland, SpanienogMalaysiapå forsøgsbasis.
Fra1. december 2023 til 30. november 2024, personer med almindelige pas, der kommer til Kina for at gøre forretninger, turisme, besøge slægtninge og venner, og som ikke er i transit i mere end 15 dage, kan rejse ind i Kina uden visum.
Dette er en meget god politik for forretningsfolk, der ofte kommer til Kina, og turister, der er interesserede i Kina. Især i den post-epidemiske æra afholdes flere og flere udstillinger i Kina, og den afslappede visumpolitik er mere bekvem for udstillere og besøgende.
